We often need just 15-20 minutes alone each day to cope with the demands of our busy lifestyles.

Sleep is vital for our bodies and minds to function at their best. Our brains are like sponges, soaking up memories during sleep to be productive during the day. Getting a good night’s rest helps you regulate your emotions, allows you to focus and concentrate on the tasks at hand, improves patience, and promotes creativity. Sleep deprivation puts an enormous strain on the body’s physiology as well as your immune system, which makes getting enough sleep vitally important!


Take care of yourself – eating healthy food in adequate amounts will give you more energy throughout the day. Food that isn’t processed or filled with chemicals will fuel your body, allowing it to perform optimally without depleting vital nutrients.

We can quickly become downhearted when seeing others succeed at what we wish to accomplish or happy for their achievements while our own life feels stagnant and uninteresting. Be mindful of the stress caused by such comparisons and spend more time focusing on beneficial things as a person. Don’t succumb to social pressures and give in to peer pressure if it’s something you don’t want or believe in!
